- This role will be based out of Atwater CA majorly, and it would involve some travel to the sister plant in Hoopeston IL. The ideal candidate should have the knowledge of Food Process Engineering principles, Design of Experiments Methodology, Food Chemistry and Culinary Science to be successful in this role.
- Develop formulations of shelf stable beans and hominy from concept to formulation, sample prototypes, heat penetration studies, operations trials, and product launches.
- Maintain updated documents and records in Genesis, Deacom, SharePoint, and other data systems.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in food science or food engineering only.
- Minimum three years of proven R&D experience and leading cross-functional teams through the full product development life cycle in a food/beverage science and/or culinary field, from concept to prototype to optimization to commercialization, and within time and budget constraints.
