Our team works hard to support each other, we are looking for an amazing nurse who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do.In this role:<ul><li>You will be able to obtain and document patients medical history/assessments in a timely manner, interventions, pre and post-operative documentation in Meditech to meet state and hospital guidelines and policies.</li><li>You will provide pre and pot-operative education in a manner that is appropriate for patient understanding and learning ability</li><li>You will interact with physicians, nursing staff, other department, patient and family in a positive and professional manner.</li><li>You will evaluate and document histories and assesses risk factors that may interfere with administration of anesthesia or delay surgical procedure.</li><li>You will provide and respond to patient needs and emergencies appropriately including but not limited to pre and post-operative care, pulmonary, nutritional, IV therapy and pain management.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Current State of Idaho Registered Nurse License or Compact RN License</li><li>American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification (offered in new employment orientation).</li><li>Previous SDS or critical care experience required.</li></ul><a href="https://westvalleymedctr.com/">West Valley Medical Center</a> (WVMC) provides a small-town, friendly environment with a big-city commitment to high-quality patient care.
