- EHS Technician implements, manages, and monitors safety programs, policies, and procedures that meet OSHA, EPA, and other applicable requirements.
- Being an EHS Technician ensures the organization complies with all current safety regulations and that all employees are aware of safety requirements and are prepared to follow safety procedures.
- Additionally, an EHS Technician may have additional responsibilities for fire prevention, hazardous waste management, resource conservation, or other safety related activities.
- Champion safety by monitoring and observing associates working on the production/ shop floor and identifying hazards and effectively communicating those hazards to the associates.
- Assist EHS in developing and conducting training (i.e. Fork Truck Training, Lock Out, Confined Space, Fall Protection, Emergency Preparedness, First Aid/CPR ).
