- Our 120-bed Community, provides a warm and caring environment for short-term rehab patients, and long- term residents including memory care.
- The Registered Nurse Assessment Coordinator (RNAC) is responsible to coordinate fulfillment of regulations relative to the MDS and associated forms, coordinate the interdisciplinary Plan of Care, to ensure appropriate utilization of services relative to levels of care, and to assist the Lead RNAC in ensuring that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times for each of the residents.
- Utilization Review in Medicare NOMNC/ABN Letters, Medicare Certifications, hospital referral review, evaluation of hospital records for ICD10 coding, setting of ARD dates, etc., of admissions and readmissions, OBRA scheduling, Part B Authorization as needed, CMI Picture Date
- On-going education for initial RNAC certification and recertification requirements every 2 years to keep up with all updates and changes in MDS coding
- Takes direction from Regional RNAC and is able to support recommendations to work as a team
