Rn Responsibilities <ul><li>Assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall antepartum, obstetric, and post-partum care for couplets of stable mothers and babies</li><li>Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), Lactation Consultant, and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction</li><li>Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education (including bonding and lactation)</li></ul> Qualifications <ul><li>Passion for Mother/Baby Nursing</li><li>1+ years of Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) experience</li><li>1+ years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience in an obstetric, nursery, or post-partum unit </li><li>New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration</li><li>Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required</li><li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) required, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required, Certified Breastfeeding Counselor preferred</li></ul> The range for this position is $52.93 to $58.93 per hour. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job, and it does not include the value of benefits.
