- Seniors and recent new grads can apply for a hybrid position rotating 6 weeks in Observations and 6 weeks in the Stepdown Unit. This is an amazing opportunity to get med surg, observation and cardiac experience.
- Though observation is one of the main focuses of the unit, we also care for a variety of other conditions including pneumonia, diabetes, sepsis, GI bleed, cellulitis, COPD exacerbation, various cancers, kidney stones, and bowel obstructions.
- Our 2-North unit specializes in caring for cardiac, neurology and stroke patients.
- If in an Adult/Combined EDs, ACLS upon hire or within one year of beginning work in the Emergency Department.
- Vascular Access Registered Nurse (VARN) program attendance required and obtains either a Certified Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) or Vascular Access Board Certified (VBC) certification upon hire or within a year of hire in Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) areas.
