- Includes coordinating the placement of admissions (elective and emergent), direct admits, and transfers in accordance with established polices and bed allocation criteria ensuring patients are assigned in the appropriate status and location.
- Responsible for facilitation of patient discharges and transfers in and out to other hospitals/health care facilities while adhering to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitors and projects bed availability based on known, predicted, or expected admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license) required.
- Minimum of three years of experience in an acute hospital setting required with preferred experience in Critical Care or Emergency Department.
