- The Registered Nurse assesses and evaluates clients and oversees services as indicated by the Service Plan. This position organizes and oversees the initial and ongoing training program for Personal Care Assistants, as well as PCA competency assessments.
- Develops and oversees PCA initial and ongoing training
- Educating caregivers and family on the aftercare or ongoing care of the patient.
- Provide oversight for PCA competency assessments prior to performing tasks with clients.
- Ensuring any PCA wil not be assigned to care for a client with special conditions unless the PCA has received training and has demonstrated competency ni performing such services related ot such special conditions.
