- The Rheumatologist provides physician services to include patient and clinician consultation, primary care management of people with chronic diseases, and additionally functions as a part of a large, integrated care team dedicated to providing whole-person care in the outpatient setting.
- Those with HIV infection are at increased risk of autoimmune and connective tissue disorders such that seamless access to the rheumatology specialty enhances clinical outcomes, quality of care, and patient experience.
- The clinic has invested in state-of-the-art diagnostics, including an upgraded dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) scanning platform offering trabecular bone score capability for improved fracture risk assessment.
- Work in a team environment (with social work, care management, integrated behavioral health, pharmacy, nutrition, health education etc.)
- Practice evidenced-based medicine in accordance with the PCMH model of care.
