Responsibilities:
Provides respiratory care for residents who are ventilator dependent or with other pulmonary needs including weaning under the direction of the Pulmonologist.

Qualifications:
<ul><li>Graduate of an AMA approved program for respiratory therapy (1 year program)</li><li>Appropriate experience in all aspects of respiratory care</li><li>NYS Department of Education License as a Respiratory Therapist Technician</li><li>Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)</li><li>Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRTT)</li><li>Current BCLS certification</li><li>Computer skills sufficient to use excel, outlook, CPOE, touchscreen, EMAR, ETAR, etc. </li><li>Knowledge and use of clinical practice guidelines and best practices</li></ul>
