- The University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (DPBS) is seeking candidates for the combined role of Program Director for our ACGME-accredited general residency training program and Vice Chair for Medical Education.
- The UCSF Departments of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Neurology, and Neurosurgery share "Best in the West" honors from US News and World Report.
- Lead a strong faculty team overseeing various residency program functions, including clinical rotations, didactics, assessment, advising, DEIB initiatives, program evaluation, psychotherapy training, research and scholarship, and recruitment.
- Ensure compliance with Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) standards, including curriculum development, trainee evaluation and feedback, policy development and implementation, duty hours, and trainee wellness.
- Provide accreditation and programmatic oversight (direct and shared) for the department's psychiatry training programs in Undergraduate Medical Education (UME) and Graduate Medical Education (GME).
