- The Research Technician with the College of Nursing supports recruitment of participants at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and is the primary data collector at OSU for a NIH-funded research project.
- Under the supervision of the project coordinator, the Research Technician will be responsible for assisting in screening subjects for inclusion into the study, scheduling and conducting all data collection assessments for participants in Columbus, conducting follow up calls to participants, assist in tracking incentives, tracking retention efforts, participant appointments and follow-ups.
- The Research Technician records, consolidates and assists with analysis of research results; assists principal investigator with the preparation of publications, manuscripts, articles, posters, and abstracts; oversees and maintains accurate records of research activities; assists with training of junior research staff; monitors research inventory and initiates procurement requests as needed.
- Experience with Access, Excel, REDCap, and working in a research capacity is preferred.
- Required Experience: Bachelor’s level degree in an appropriate biological/health science or equivalent education/experience, and 2-3 years of relevant experience.
