- Dr. Miraldi’s Immuno-Engineering Laboratory seeks a computational research fellow to build mathematical models of the immune system in vivo.
- These models will be constructed from cutting-edge, high-dimensional, immune-system measurements (e.g., single-cell genomics, chromatin state, proteomics).
- Our mathematical modeling frameworks span mechanistic (e.g., dynamic gene regulatory networks) to deep learning (e.g., prediction of cellular epigenomes from DNA sequence).
- Through close collaboration with our physician and experimental colleagues, we iteratively test and refine our models, so that the models yield novel insights into immune-cell function and ultimately guide new therapeutic strategies in the context of autoimmunity, infectious disease and cancer.
- The team will design and execute hybrid computational-experimental strategies that push the boundaries of both immunology and computational biology.
