- Seattle Childrens provides a unique opportunity for a physical therapist to work on a multi-disciplinary team to provide evidence-based therapeutic care as well as collect motor function outcome measures on novel clinical trials as a clinical evaluator, advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care outcomes for the neuromuscular and neurodevelopmental patient population.
- We are a close-knit program that offers comprehensive care and support to children with a neuromuscular and neurodevelopmental condition, such as spina bifida, DMD, SMA, FSHD, CMT, and others.
- Duties in this position include but are not limited to providing physical therapy assessments, plans and interventions; administering manual therapy and/or therapeutic exercises/activities/modalities; evaluating need for adaptive equipment; contributing to research studies as the primary clinical evaluator; and assessing patients for success as research candidates.
- Clinical evaluator tasks will further include administration of protocol specific functional outcome measures, maintenance and calibration of equipment, maintaining training certifications, and accurate data documentation.
- Professional entry level degree in physical therapy (including BS, MPT, or DPT)
