- Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Crisis Services Coordinator, Adult Mental Health Services, interviews individuals (both walk-in and telephone) who may need crisis intervention and/or voluntary or involuntary admission to a local or state hospital.
- Requirements: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field is required or must be obtained within 60 days of application.
- Possession of an appropriate State of Michigan credential is required (LMSW, LLMSW, LLPC, LPC, LLP, FLP, etc.)
- A minimum of one year of experience (professional or paraprofessional) working with persons with mental illness required or one academic year of graduate practicum/internship experience working with persons with mental illness required.
- Preferably, one year of experience in the following areas: clinical diagnostic assessment and evaluation of adults and children experiencing behavioral health crisis, crisis intervention, brief counseling, and determining hospital eligibility.
