- Under the direction of the Sr. Director, the Regional Facilities Director is responsible for ensuring and providing maintenance cleanliness and upkeep of the building and grounds.
- Makes sure that the Facilities Coordinators (FCs) are completing the necessary repairs of the building, equipment, and machinery, as well as lights, plumbing, windows, screens, carpet, tile, and simple carpentry needs, along with interior and exterior painting as needed are obtaining bids for larger projects in coordination with the Directors.
- Also ensures that the FCs are preparing resident’s rooms for new admissions, which may include maintenance of the room itself and the moving of furniture and equipment as required, and that they are maintaining ongoing contact and monitoring of the lawn care and snow removal companies, as well as keeping the walkways and exits shoveled and salted as needed.
- Assures that all property outside of the building is properly maintained and cleaned as needed by the Facilities Coordinator, to include the picking up of any trash, cigarette butts, or any other debris on the property.
- Also, they are scheduling, implementing, and tracking monthly fire drills as per OMH (Office of Mental Health) regulations as directed and completing monthly inspections of all fire safety equipment according to OMH / Quality Management guidelines.
