- Serves as a Lifeguard/Swim Instructor at the Fort MacArthur Pool. Performs rescues and resuscitates individuals in danger, promptly administers appropriate levels of first aid within certified scope and calls for medical assistance as needed.
- Ensures diving boards and slides are inspected frequently for cracks or loose matting, and reports problems or incidences to supervisor in timely manner.
- Monitors Chlorine and Ph chemical levels every two hours to ensure pool water meets specified Air Force OSHA Standard 48-14 (AFOSHSTD); Documents results; notifies management and follows Bio Environmental and Engineering (BEE) protocol when levels are not in compliance.
- Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social).
- Dive brick from 10 feet deep, surface and swim 20 yards with weight using legs only and exit the pool without using a ladder within 100 seconds.
