- Responsibilities Researches regulatory materials for information concerning the processing of these instruments which include agricultural leases, permits for removal of material, various temporary permits, and grants of rights-of-way across public lands and facilities under the jurisdiction of the Area Office.
- Negotiates, prepares, and processes appropriate instruments to allow use of land by other Federal, state, county, city, and private agencies, or individuals on, within, or across Reclamation withdrawn or acquired lands.
- Negotiates terms of agreements and prepares land exchange and sales contracts, warranty or quitclaim deeds for the acquisition or disposal of land.
- Conducts investigations and searches courthouse records for relevant realty information and consults with state, county or city officials, other Reclamation representatives, water districts, and landowners to negotiate, modify, or amend contract renewals, terminations, cancellations, and issuances.
- Performs the realty activities necessary to implement Resource Management Plans as required by Commissioner's Policy of December 6, 1988.
