- Conduct capability gap analysis of readiness training, analyze the implications of gaps, and provide recommendations for 2d MarDiv training to address gaps in areas to include, but not limited to, cold weather training continuum, jungle warfare, desert warfare, and major combat operations.
- Conduct analysis of subordinate unit readiness reports that feed the assessment of 2d MarDiv current readiness.
- Facilitate the inspection of subordinate units during Commanding Generals Readiness Inspections (CGRI) ensuring Marine Corps Readiness policies and procedures are followed.
- Collect, analyze, build, and brief 2d Marine Division and Division HQs Readiness information to the Commanding General, Division Staff, and Subordinate unit Commanders.
