- A Behavior Technician or Registered Behavior Technician (“BT” or “RBT”) is responsible for implementation of environmental modifications, using behavioral stimuli and consequences, to produce socially significant improvement in human behavior for the purpose of providing behavioral health treatment for persons with autism, autism spectrum disorders and related disorders.
- Core duties and responsibilities of a BT/RBT include those set forth below.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy services to clients in individual sessions.
- Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions and when emergency crisis situations arise.
- Each BT/RBT shall participate with their immediate BCBA supervisor.
