- Provides strategic and technical support for early-stage rail programs and schemes, drawing upon a strong background in strategic railway planning, preferably with experience inside an operating company or transport agency involving railway service outputs.
- Reports to and receives functional and operational guidance from the Rail Division Manager and receives day-to-day guidance from the GBU rail sector lead and rail engineering manager.
- Additional Qualifications: Experience in strategic railway planning, preferably with experience inside an operating company or transport agency involving railway service outputs.
- Has an in-depth knowledge of CENELEC and IEC standards pertaining to rail systems, engineering safety and RAMS. Thorough knowledge of AREMA standards pertaining to civil infrastructure, rail systems and engineering safety.
