- The Radiologic Technologist’s role is to provide quality images with accuracy and efficiency using optimal skills and knowledge of all equipment.
- Uses computer image processing, as needed to select, process, optimize and archive images to PACS.Completely tracks exams in the Radiology Information system.
- Assists in the training of Radiologic Technology Students, and adheres to dept.
- Protects patients and others in the area by using proper machine settings and radiation safety standards.
- Communicates and uses knowledge of related anatomy and physiology to insure appropriate and effective care to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
