- The Diagnostic division encompasses stationary and portable radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment located in University Hospital, East Hospital, Brain and Spine Hospital, Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital, Harding Hospital, James Cancer Hospital and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations.
- The Radiologic Technologist performs fixed and mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures for the diagnosis/treatment of disease or injury.
- In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.
- Imaging Technologist Duties – 80% of the time
- Ensures department(s) operates within practice standards and meet minimum standards of American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT), American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Ohio Department of Health (ODH), American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and other regulatory agencies, i.e., American College of Radiology (ACR), Joint Commission (JC), Ohio Department of Health (ODH).
