- The Department of Radiation Oncology of Emory University School of Medicine is soliciting applications for a full-time radiation oncology physician at the Assistant, Associate or Professor level to help grow and expand community outreach efforts and the clinical practice at Emory Proton Therapy Center.
- This faculty position would provide clinical care primarily at Emory Proton Therapy Center.
- Working with the Medical Director and with the support of the center’s marketing and outreach team, this faculty position will allocate a portion of their time in community engagement events and in building and strengthening partnerships with regional physicians.
- Emory faculty and staff provide all clinical services at the center, with 16 radiation oncology physician faculty treating patients at the center alongside 10 proton medical physicists and 4 advanced practice providers.
- The center uses Varian’s ProBeam system with five clinical rooms (4 fully-rotational gantries and 1 fixed beam room), with all rooms equipped with pencil beam scanning and cone-beam CT in all gantry rooms.
