- Option 1: Education in specific coursework in the physical science, engineering or biological science totaling 90 quarter or 60 semester credits (300-400) level or above) AND five (5) years of professional experience in an official radiation control program or documented experience inradiation safety, radiation fundamentals, radiation measurements, understanding of as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA) principles, and dosimetry.
- Option 2: A Bachelor’s degree AND seven (7) years of experience in a radiation protection program.
- Option 3: A Bachelor of Science degree in physical science, engineering, or biological science AND five (5) years of professional experience in an official radiation control program or documented experience inradiation safety, radiation fundamentals, radiation measurements, understanding of as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA) principles, and dosimetry.
