- Job Description We have an opening for a Radar Systems Engineer for modelling RF propagation and scattering, radar cross-section estimation and evolution as functions of time and aspect, capable of applying commercial and in-house simulation tools for analysis and design in support of our national security missions.
- You will be responsible for using your engineering judgement and modeling experience for a wide variety of projects including the areas of: radar detection, radar system characterization, radar cross section modeling and analysis, link budget estimation and general radio frequency (RF) electromagnetics.
- This position is in the Computational Electromagnetics Group of the Computational Engineering Division (CED), within the Engineering Directorate.
- Ability to model Radar return signal and Radar Cross Section in commercial codes (CST Microwave Studio, FEKO, HFSS).
- Perform advanced research in at least one of the following areas: computational electromagnetics, radar modeling, and RF propagation modeling.
