- Lead multidisciplinary teams to develop quantum sensor technologies and establish new collaborations with academia, industry, and/or other not-for-profit organizations to advance the sensor’s technological maturity and/or explore novel use cases.
- Perform research in quantum sensing, with a focus on sensors supporting intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR).
- Track, organize, and prioritize quantum computing applications by DoD utility, feasibility of realization, and completeness of the application concept across multiple institutions (government, industry, academia, etc
- Develop processes to rigorously test quantum computing applications that utilize existing resources available to the government and independent of quantum computing companies, such as FFRDCs, UARCs, etc.
- Recommend studies and project concepts to improve the DoD knowledge base of quantum computing application utility.
