- Responsible for ensuring the Marion County WIC Program is in compliance with Health and Hospital Corporation/Marion County Public Health Department (HHC/MCPHD), the Indiana State WIC Program, and USDA Federal WIC Program policies and procedures.
- Work with the WIC local agency Breastfeeding Coordinator to ensures state and federal breastfeeding regulations and policies are in compliance encompassing clinic breastfeeding services as well as the peer counselor program.
- Work with the WIC local agency Vendor Educator/Liaison/Coordinator to ensure vendor compliance and established procedures for monitoring retail stores is being upheld.
- Present results and recommendations for vendor compliance and monitoring improvement to WIC leadership.
- Perform periodic in-clinic observation during intake assessment with a focus on, including but not limited to, steps taken to establish identity, residency and income eligibility; processing of voter registrations; while in-clinic, review monitoring, assessments and reports conducted by WIC Program Managers and/or Leads.
