- Aging and Disability Services Division (ADSD) is currently recruiting for a full-time Quality Assurance Specialist II vacancy with Rural Regional Center (RRC).
- This recruitment may be used to fill current and future vacancies as they occur in RRC. Quality Assurance Specialists (QAS) are responsible for carrying out quality assurance and performance improvement activities to ensure services are provided in compliance with State and Federal regulations and Developmental Services (DS) Standards for Service Provision.
- QAS work closely as a unit, both locally and as a statewide team, to promote consistency in the application of policy and service standards.
- Our mission is to provide leadership and advocacy in the planning, development and delivery of a high quality, comprehensive support service system across the lifespan to allow all of Nevada's elders, children and adults with disabilities or special health care needs, to live independent, meaningful and dignified lives to the greatest extent possible.
- Some positions require applicants to meet federal guidelines for Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) designation or have an Early Childhood Special Education teaching endorsement at the time of appointment and as a condition of continuing employment.
