- We coordinate the university’s legislative and advocacy efforts at the federal, state, and local levels by building and strengthening relationships with PSU’s constituencies and encouraging investment in and support for the university, its programs, and its initiatives.
- PSU Government Relations works closely with staff, faculty, and students to identify opportunities to highlight research, grow programming, and facilitate connections with policymakers and other stakeholders.
- Position Summary The Public Affairs Coordinator provides administrative support to the President’s Office, the Board of Trustees, the Government Affairs Office, and the Office of Institutional Research and Planning.
- PSU’s Office of Government Relations represents the interests of the University before the Oregon Legislature, Oregon state agencies (including, but not limited to, the Oregon Higher Education Commission), local government bodies, Congress, and federal agencies.
