- The Psychologist functions as a clinical psychologist under the supervision of the Section Chief, Audrey Hepburn Children's House and the Supervisor Psychology, in accordance with the Ethical Principles of Psychologists and Code of Conduct of the American Psychological Association, guidelines from the New Jersey Board of Psychological Examiners, and standards set forth by the joint Commission.
- Provides specialized trauma informed treatment to children and families in cases of child maltreatment and family violence.
- Provides case management and coordination with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P).
- Provides program services in accordance with HUMC policy and procedures, the Joint Commission, the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P), the American Psychological Association (APA) and the New Jersey Board of Psychological Examiners.
- Maintains records and documentation of patient contact according to the laws of the State of New Jersey and the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and the Division of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P).
