- Job Details: Psychologist Location : Correctional Facility in Vacaville, California Pay Rate $135 to $149 Per Hour + Quarterly Bonus Schedule : 6 to 9 months Full Time Contract Eligible for extension Requirements: Psychologist Twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years rendering direct patient care in public or private institution.
- Conducts initial mental health evaluations including criminal, psychological, and substance abuse case history to assess inmate’s current needs and make treatment recommendations in the initial evaluation.
- Meets with mentally ill inmates/wards for crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, face-to-face interviews, etc.
- Consults on complex cases with supervisor, treatment team members, and with Correctional Facility in California institutional healthcare personnel, and other divisions within the department.
