- The Monterey County Health Department , Behavioral Health Bureau is seeking enthusiastic Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) candidates to work as part of care teams serving children, youth and adults as a Psychiatric Social Worker II.
- The Psychiatric Social Worker II is the advanced level position for the Psychiatric Social Worker series.
- Candidates appointed to the Psychiatric Social Worker II level are expected to perform high quality psychiatric assessments, diagnosis and clinical interventions in inpatient and community settings to children, adolescents, and adults.
- Clinical teams include Early Childhood Services, Transition Age Youth, Post Hospitalization Support, as well clinical teams that partner with Child Welfare, Education and Juvenile Probation.
