- The Psychiatric Safety Officer is responsible for protecting patients, visitors, employees, and hospital property by surrounding behavioral health units and the emergency department.
- Works to prevent aggressive behavior, seclusion, and restraint by utilizing the least restrictive methods, as indicated by N.A.P.P.I., (Non-Abusive Psychological and Physical Intervention) training.
- Completes required reporting in the Enforsys CAD/RMS system, SERS system and other applicable databases.
- The Psych Safety officer is responsible for collection and inventory of the patient valuables on both 6100 and 6400.
