- QUALIFICATION:A Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Coordinator (PRSC) shall possess a bachelor’s degree in a human services field (including but not limited to: sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling or psychology) and have a minimum of one year of supervised experience in mental health or human services.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Administrative FunctionsAssist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating and directing the psychiatric rehabilitation services programs of this facility.
- Review and may evaluate the Rehabilitation Assistant’s performance and make recommendations to the PRSD.Coordinate psychiatric rehabilitation services activities with other departments as necessary.
- As part of the psychiatric rehabilitation services treatment program, provide 1:1 counseling groups, training and behavioral intervention to develop resident skills in self-maintenance, social functioning, community living skills, symptom management and substance abuse and vocational rehabilitation.
- Interpret social, psychological, and emotional needs of the resident/family to the IDT.Provide consultation to members of our staff, community agencies, etc., in efforts to meet the needs of the resident through the development of psychiatric rehabilitation services programs.
