- The basic purpose of assignments will be to orient the employee in the application of academic theory and basic principles as they pertain to railroad signal engineering.
- Duties and Responsibilities: Assists Signal Management in the design and layout of railroad signal projects.
- These projects may include assistance with engineering plans for power generation and consumption, inspection services during construction, preparation of local State and Federal permits, utility locates, and other related activities.
- Performs routine drafting and utilizes department's CADD system and software to develop drawings, graphs, tables, and reports as required.
- Applicants must be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited college or university in a curriculum leading to an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in engineering or engineering technology.
