- Protection and management of water resources starts at the watershed level and follows the movement of water through urban and agricultural areas, streams, lakes and reservoirs, water distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, and water/wastewater treatment plants.
- Our Surface Water Project Manager will manage projects that may involve a broad range of disciplines, including design of public and private drainage systems, BMP design, NPDES permitting, and H&H analysis.
- Candidates will be expected to demonstrate technical ability in design of common water resources task such as design of stormwater management systems, pipe hydraulics, bridge hydraulics, scour, floodplain evaluation, and show experience with NPDES permit compliance both in documentation (i.e. post-construction and construction documents and reports) and design of water quality BMPs.
- Understand regulatory requirements and water quality standards associated with surface water and Clean Water Act/NPDES compliance
