- The Project Manager will work to develop and manage collaborative stream restoration projects, advancing progress towards the restoration and protection of groundwater and surface water resources in the Lower Gallatin Watershed.
- Assist the Restoration Director to identify and prioritize locations in the watershed that are most critical for protecting and improving water quality, aquatic, riparian and wetland habitat, flood and drought resiliency, and water supply.
- Implement on-the-ground stream and wetland restoration projects, including landowner and partner coordination, site investigation, permitting, contractor procurement and oversight, and budget management.
- Master’s degree in ecological restoration, aquatic biology, ecology, hydrology, civil or environmental engineering, landscape architecture or a related field, plus at least two years of relevant work experience, or a relevant bachelor’s degree and five years work experience.
- Stream and wetland restoration project management experience and familiarity with subcontractor procurement and basic construction principles.
