- The primary purpose of the project engineer is to develop, lead, and execute capital and expense projects in a manner that follows all process and technical standards.
- The project engineer is responsible for all aspects of approved project execution, including detail technical design, issuing technical specifications, following standard project management techniques, managing vendors, contract engineers, and contractors for constructions, remodeling and equipment fabrication and installation.
- The Project Engineer is responsible for system commissioning and ramp up as well as transition to operations maintenance including documentation, training, spare parts and conducting post project review to measure results and document learnings.
- This will include stakeholders internal to the plant as well as external (i.e. sales, marketing, corporate QA, packaging engineering, North American Engineering, and corporate safety).
- Will consider a candidate with less experience if exceptional in other ways (i.e. relevant internships and academic achievements) Experience in food processing, dry or liquid packaging, pharmaceutical, or chemical process a strong plus.
