- This individual will lead the work of creating and growing the organization’s involvement in government projects, including, but not limited to tax credits, training reimbursements, grants, and other funding projects that align with the organization’s strategic initiatives.
- The responsibility of this position includes the identification of funding opportunities, grant writing and proposal development, and the financial management, reporting, and compliance of these opportunities.
- The Manager, Government Programs, serves as a liaison with the funding agencies and stays current with government incentives and opportunities in battery development and manufacturing.
- As a key member of the Program Management department, the Government Program Manager uses detailed program management processes to plan, execute, deliver, and provide reporting on complex programs according to strict deadlines and budgets while delivering project objectives.
- ResponsibilitiesDevelop applications to the local, state, and federal government and/or request for proposals, drafting compelling, high-quality grant proposals and applications that are ultimately successful, driving organizational growth and impact.
