- Description The Emory Autism Center (EAC) invites applications for a full-time staff position (Program Coordinator) in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in the Emory University School of Medicine.
- The candidate hired for this position, in collaboration with the Program Directors, will be responsible for providing educational consultation, technical assistance and training to school system personnel and families supporting the educational and life skills of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
- The Educational Consultant will focus on school-age (K-12) students with ASD. Additional roles may include providing social-emotional vocational and transition assessments for adolescents with ASD; providing training for community professionals, stakeholders and families; and making referrals to community providers.
- Develops promotional materials which may include content for reports, briefings, newsletters, grants or other written information related to the program.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:A master’s degree in psychology, education/special education, counseling, behavior analysis, or other related applied fields.
