- The Department of Physics and Astronomy has seventeen tenure/tenure-track faculty and three full-time instructors.
- Faculty research is in the areas of Astronomy, Atomic and Molecular and Optical and Plasma (AMOP) Physics, Computational Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, and Nuclear Physics.
