- Assist with the cleaning and maintenance of equipment, inspect raw materials beforeloading onto machines, carry out basic quality checks such as testing of product or packaging before shipping.
- Read work orders, set up, run and reset specified manufacturing equipment consistent with customer requirements, established production and quality standards, notify lead/supervisor of equipment failure or problems; seek to improve efficiency and make process change recommendations to Supervisors.
- Operate safety sensitive and heavy equipment such as electric pallet jacks, manual pallet jacks, & fixed equipment.
- May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety shoes, bump-caps, gloves, hair nets, masks, & clean-room frocks while adhering to the prescribed safety procedures.
- Includes a shop environment, with exposure to high noise levels from operating machines, physical hazards from moving equipment and machine parts, nuisance dust, and skin exposure to hazardous materials used during material prep process.
