- Job Summary:The Product Support Engineer will use established procedures and work under limited supervision to manage delivery of product support documentation, ensure adherence to product requirements, Crane’s processes and policies, and adherence to industry requirements and standards.
- The Product Support Engineer also participates in validation of maintenance manuals as required and provides technical support to ensure customer satisfaction including completion of technical and industry standard reviews for the internal approval of CMMs, CMPs, and Service Bulletins.
- The Product Support Engineer performs assigned tasks by working cross-functionally with Engineering, Repair and Overhaul, Suppliers and Customers.
- This position will assume project management responsibilities: responsible for cost estimates, supplier RFQs, Purchase Requisitions/Purchase Order initiation, and cost and schedule requirements.
- The Product Support Engineer should have expert knowledge of industry standards, practices and procedures related to product support documentation such as Component Maintenance Manuals, Service Bulletins, Provisioning Data, and related publications.
