- Perform tensile testing, Rockwell hardness testing and Vickers microhardness testing to determine material properties used for manufacturing or CAE modelling.
- Fabrication of test fixtures or equipment using welding, milling/drilling, saw cutting, turning, and laser cutting.
- Data acquisition/LabView Programming - Use and implement National Instruments Labview programming software to design test software and acquisition programs.
- Products include, but limited to the following: automotive bumper systems, office cubicles, office chairs, hitches, automobile frame structure, automobile door beams, active grille shutters, etc.
- Design and implement PLC/Operator interface programs using GE-Fanuc and Allen-Bradley software, or toerh company specific software as needed.
