- This position requires quoting of lighting specs, (adaptive problem solving), seeking alternative value engineering options, and acting as the key conduit between large customer project orders, from initial order placement, coordination with the factory or vendors, through to delivery and project completion.
- Providing a consultative sales approach with business partners (primarily electrical contractors or general contractors) in providing lighting solutions for their commercial/ industrial/ multi-family and residential projects
- Quote/Proposal preparation, and follow up to include:Obtaining lighting requirements of the entire environment with a holistic approach that takes into account the practical and aesthetic needs of the projectWorking alternatives or value engineering options, when required Negotiations with the customer that provide for positive outcomesClosing the initial sale
