- In this exciting role as a Principal Facilities Engineer your primary objective will be to provide engineering services to the Global Facilities Team. Specifically by serving as a key point of contact and Owners representative, connecting Operations, Project Management and the Construction group(s).
- The Principal Facilities Engineer will focus on Mechanical and Plumbing key projects, initiatives and operational activities that impact the Facility Infrastructure and energy usage - objectives are accomplished through matrixed employee teams and/or vendors who are not direct reports, but for which the incumbent has accountability to interact, guide and influence.
- The role requires practical working knowledge of the Facility Mechanical infrastructure, Electrical Infrastructure, and Building Automation Systems.
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in engineering (electrical or mechanical) is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of building mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and related systems as well as systems common to lab and medical device manufacturing operations including but not limited to clean dry air, bulk gases, purified water, wastewater treatment and neutralization, emergency power generation and UPS systems, among others.
