- The Principal Engineer, Development Engineering (Wind) will be responsible for collaborating with the project team in developing, planning, scheduling, budgeting, Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) negotiations and contracting, technical review, BOP design and economic optimization of utility scale wind projects.
- The position requires in-depth knowledge of the design and construction of new or repowered wind farms, including civil, foundations, turbine installation, and electrical MV collector and HV scopes.
- The candidate will have experience in negotiating wind EPC agreements, will require experience in working with engineering consultants in the design and optimization of utility-scale wind projects, and must have experience interfacing with Turbine suppliers during design and contract execution.
- The Principal Engineer (Wind) will contribute to Clearway’s forward-looking technology and cost roadmaps, integrating analysis of market and regulatory factors, and contributing to the achievement of Clearway’s US domestic content and ESG goals.
- Control project timeline to align and coordinate EPC and Turbine supplier schedules.
