- ROLE AND PURPOSEThe major responsibility of the Post Secondary Facilitator is to support teachers, students and parents in the development of Transition Plans as determined by State Performance Plan Indicator 13.
- QUALIFICATIONS: Education/Certification: Bachelor's Degree with teaching certificate in special education Experience: Three years teaching experience in high school special education preferred MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: INSTRUCTIONAL MANAGEMENT Arrange guest speakers for high school students regarding various supports.
- STUDENT MANAGEMENT Conduct in-classroom presentations and trainings to students on the transition process including active and interactive website information.
- Assist in the development of the summary of performance for all graduating seniors.
- SCHOOL/COMMUNITY RELATIONS Provide, after-school hours, parent information sessions.
