- The Leadership Development, Culture and Student Programs (LCS) at the Penn State Applied Research Lab (ARL) is hiring a Postdoctoral Scholar interested in the field of workforce education and projects focused on STEM workforce development, transformative workplace experience, and career development programming.
- This research includes collaborating with ARL's research offices and enterprise operations partners to manage, evaluate, and expand ARL's flagship Student Opportunities in Applied Research (SOAR) internship program and support the management of ARL's graduate leadership and professional development program.
- They will also have the opportunity to collect, analyze, and synthesize data to propose, plan, and conduct projects designed to increase the transition of promising interns to full time ARL staff and develop and implement career development programs for the student workforce at ARL. The post-doctoral scholar will work directly under the mentorship of Dr. Dara Sanoubane, with additional opportunities for mentorship from others within LCS.
- A Ph. D. degree in Education, Business Administration, Communication, Human Resources, Learning and Performance Systems, Curriculum & Instruction, Educational Psychology Counseling Education, Education Policy Studies, or related field is required by the start date.
- Are skilled with various technologies including survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics); social media platforms such as LinkedIn, student information systems (SIS), learning management systems (LMS), Confluence, JIRA, and SharePoint.
